AFC Oakley M&DH landed a league & cup double.

The 2015-16 season's silver medals were today claimed by Renhold United after Wilstead lost their six game winning home run when defeated 6-4 by Ickwell & Old Warden. Dean Hamilton and Andrew Vallom both netting hat-tricks against home replies via Kevin Butler, Paul Jones, Adam Budek and Alex Russell. Whilst AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College now know they will finish the season in fourth spot after winning 2-1 at Sharnbrook to end their campaign on a three game winning run. Courtney Boughton and Gia Moscartiolo netting the goals to do the damage against one in reply from Jim Burnside.

Also enjoying life on the road were Shefford Town & Campton who ran out 2-1 winners at fifth place Flitwick Town. Ahead after 30 minutes via Jake Rennie they then saw Viniticus Doratratto level matters for the home side 20 minutes into the second period before 10 minutes later Jamie Osbourne slotted home what turned out to be the winning goal. Whilst Sandy ensured they will now finish the season in twelfth spot after sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Caldecote. Dan Fennell on the home scoresheet against a Sandy reply from Jack Webb who would have claimed all three points if only Nathan Morris had scored from the penalty spot.
Division One supported by Wests Citroen Bedford

Sundon Park Rangers are now within four points and touching distance of claiming the league title after they won at Westoning and second place Stevington were beaten at Potton Town. Shaka Anderson netting four times and Nash Bennett once to bring up the nap hand for the Rangers in their 5-2 win at Westoning whose replies came via Shaun Cooksley and Thomas Cooksley. Whilst Stevington were beaten 4-1 at Potton Town for whom Tom Pyman with a hat-trick plus a single strike from James Pyman did the damage.

Elsewhere Henlow in winning 7-3 at AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves ensured the home side will now finish the season in bottom spot. Luke Purchase with a hat-trick joined on the Henlow scoresheet by George Rennie, John Whitehead, Sam Crow and Russell Ayles against home replies via Mitch Crook, Ray Patrickson and Joe Atherton.

Centenary Cup Final

In front of a Shefford Town & Campton Hitchin Road complex crowd of 160, Queens Park Crescents claimed this seasons Centenary Cup with a 1-0 victory over Ickleford. Fabio Sattar heading home the games lone goal just three minutes from time.

Division Two

The lone Division Two action of the afternoon saw second from bottom of the table Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves win 3-0 at bottom of the table Kempston Athletic. A victory which should now keep them above the Athletic in the final standings. Jamie Cerminara netting twice and Carl Borromeo once to do the damage.

Division Three

In the lone Division Three action Wilstead Reserves kept their season's silver medal hopes alive by winning 5-1 at AFC Dunton. Luke Pursey and Sam Ward both netting twice alongside a single strike from Callum Evans to bring up the nap hand against a lone home reply from Jason Kinns.

Division Four

This season's Division Four silver medals now belong to Caldecote A after they won 4-1 at Henlow Reserves. Jack Stagg, Chris Richardson, Jake Bruce and Scott Boxwell netting the goals against one in reply from Tom Boggon.

Watson Shield Final

In front of a Shefford Town & Campton Hitchin Road complex crowd of 140, Renhold United Reserves duly landed this seasons Watson Shield with a 4-0 victory over Bedfordshire Saturday Youth side Ampthill Town Under 18's. Michael France being the United hero when after he opened the scoring in the 35th minute he then completed his hat-trick with further strikes in the 62nd and 81st minutes of the contest to put the tie beyond the reach of the Town before the fourth United goal came in time added on via Jesse Bangle from the penalty spot as the Town were reduced to 10 men following a red card for Elis Ralevic for his chosen words to referee Matt Langthorne which was to earn him his second yellow card of the day and the walk of shame.

With visitors Sharnbrook unable to raise a side to visit the Recreation Ground to face Sandy the home side were duly awarded the three points and Sharnbrook having one point deducted from their seasons total.

Britannia Cup Final

In front of a Hillgrounds crowd of 180, AFC Oakley M&DH duly collected a season's league and cup double with a 2-0 victory over Ampthill Town Reserves. Ahead in the 14th minute via an header from Matt Barnes their cup victory was sealed when Barnes netted a second goal 12 minutes from time.

Division One supported by Wests Citroen Bedford

With Westoning failing to raise a side to visit second place Stevington and calling the game off just three hours prior to kick off to gift the home side the three points league leaders Sundon Park Rangers knew that anything less than the three points at bottom of the table AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves later in the day would see the championship title be decided when they hosted Stevington on Wednesday evening under Cranfield United's floodlights. The Rangers however made no mistake in recording their fifth away win on the bounce with a 6-0 victory. Shaka Anderson netting four times alongside single strikes from Chris Mapp and Kieran Archer.

Division Three

The lone action of the day saw Renhold United Reserves run out 4-0 home winners over Caldecote Reserves. Lochian Pinder with a brace plus single strikes from Lewis Debenedicits and Michael France doing the damage.
