AFC Oakley M&DH claim the number one Xmas spot.
Premier Division supported by Sportsform
AFC Oakley M&DH will go into 2016 with a lead of four points at the head of the Premier Division supported by Sportsform league table after maintaining their seasons unbeaten away ways and extending their current unbeaten run to 12 games by winning 3-1 at Shefford Town & Campton. Jack Hoogstraten netting twice and George Cox once against a lone Town reply from Chris Clark. Now back into second spot are Renhold United who emerged 5-2 home winners over Ampthill Town Reserves to end their visitors seasons unbeaten away ways and 12 game unbeaten run. Alex Woolston with a brace joined on the scoresheet by Tom O'Neill, Sheldon Washington and Ben Brown to bring up the nap hand.
Also climbing the league table into fourth spot were Wilstead who made it five home wins on the bounce to extend their unbeaten ways up to 10 games with a 2-1 victory over Flitwick Town. Colin Marshall and Adam Budek netting the vital goals against one in reply from Jim Lewis. This result dropping AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College down into fifth place after they suffered their fourth consecutive league defeat when beaten 1-0 at home by Marston Shelton Rovers who were returning to winning ways for the first time in six outings thanks to a goal from Alexander Wallace.
Down at the other end of the table it was a good day for Sandy who ended their run of six straight defeats with a 3-0 home win over second from bottom of the table Eastcotts AFC who are still awaiting their first away point of the season. Simon Brown, Matt Johnson plus an own goal doing the damage. This victory taking Sandy three points clear in spot number thirteen of Caldecote who sit one place below them after they were beaten 4-0 at tenth place Sharnbrook. Jim Burnside with a brace plus a penalty from Michael Pickard and a goal for Louis Green taking Sharnbrook's unbeaten ways up to four games.
Sandy now also only trail twelfth place Pavenham by just two points after they were beaten 1-0 at home by seventh place Cranfield United. Jordan Appleton netting the goal to give United their fourth win on the bounce.
Division One Supported By Wests Citroen Bedford
With second place Stevington sitting the afternoon out league leaders Sundon Park Rangers took full advantage to extend their lead at the head of the league table up to eight points when maintaining their seasons unbeaten ways with a 7-2 home win over Meltis Albion. Shaka Anderson with four goals joined on the scoresheet by Aiden Dawson, Chris Mapp and Brian Fraser against Albion replies via Kade Walker and Scott Alleyne.
Missing the chance to jump up above the non-playing Stevington into second spot were both AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves and Ickleford. Town nevertheless jumping from fourth to third place after sharing the spoils in a 0-0 home draw with Shefford Town & Campton Reserves after Ickleford slide down the table into fourth spot as they lost their seasons unbeaten home record when beaten 2-0 by Queens Park Crescents for whom Fabio Sattar netted both goals.
For Houghton Athletic it was away win number one of the season with a 4-0 victory at yet to win at home and bottom of the table AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves. Ali Mohiyaldeen, Shaun Fahy, Mark Doran and Jordan Thomas all finding the back of the net. Whilst Riseley Sports returned to winning ways for the first time in four outings with a 5-2 home victory over Westoning. Jack Healey leading the way with a hat-trick and joined on the scoresheet by Adam Poole and Sam Harrison to bring up the nap hand against Westoning replies via Bryn Reynolds and Dominic Benmoussa.
The Henlow v Potton Town game being postponed after the Town failed to raise a side.
Cranfield United Reserves lead at the head of the division two league table is now up to six points after they maintained their seasons 100% away record and unbeaten ways by winning 5-0 at start of play second place Lea Sports PSG. Phil Kempsell with a hat-trick joined on the scoresheet by Jordan Conway and Ben Thompson to bring up the nap hand which sent the PSG down the league table into third spot after the now second place Cople & Bedford SA came from 6-3 down to win 7-6 at Wootton Village to record their fifth win on the bounce. Ollie Hughes and Daniel Lupton with braces joined on the SA scoresheet by James Munns, Gary Canzano and Paul Nigro against Village hat-tricks in reply from Nick Burraway and Aidan Medhurst.
Also netting seven goals were Kempston Hammers Sports who returned to winning ways for the first time in seven outings with a 7-1 home victory over Bedford United. Jimmy Grandidge with a brace joined on the scoresheet by a Sam Scutchings penalty plus strikes from Dan Havil, Kieran Wilson, Sean Winconek and the evergreen Mick Freeman against one in reply from Aaron Van Horne.
For fifth place Flitwick Town Reserves it was home win number four on the bounce with a 3-1 victory over bottom of the table Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves. Benn Ward, Sam Johnson and Peter Kouwenberg notching the goals against a Rovers reply via Mark Champkin. Whilst sixth place Atletico Europa were 4-2 home winners over second from bottom of the table Kempston Athletic who were suffering away defeat number six on the bounce. Padji Jaurovic with a hat-trick plus Cameron Browne on the Europa scoresheet against Athletic replies via Richie Andrews and Billy Mills.
There is no change at the head of the division three standings following wins for the top two clubs. For league leaders Wixams it was a retention of their seasons 100% home record to maintain their seven point lead at the head of the table with a 4-0 victory over Dinamo Flitwick. Gareth Loadman, Iain Hall, Gareth White and Charlie Battams all finding the back of the net. Whilst second place Sundon Park Rovers retained their seasons unbeaten away ways and gained revenge for their home defeat last weekend by White Eagles by beating them 1-0 on their own patch thanks to a strike from Chris Scott thus ending the Eagles six game unbeaten run.
Now up into third spot are AFC Dunton who made it five wins on the bounce with a 2-0 home victory over Sandy Reserves. Tony Norman and Neil Ellis netting the vital goals. Whilst fifth place Wilstead Reserves claimed win number three on the bounce by winning 3-0 at Shefford Town & Campton A. Hani Thiarra, Sam Ward and Lewis Duffield goals doing the damage. Whilst for sixth place Caldecote Reserves it was home win number five on the bounce in beating Renhold United Reserves 2-0. Jack Stagg and Adam Legate the goalscorers.
Down at the bottom end of the standing Clifton now find themselves bottom after losing 3-1 at Meltis Albion Reserves who had started the day in the basement spot. Adam Cranny with a hat-trick giving the Albion their first home points of the season to put an end to their six game losing run against one in reply from Clifton's Josh Angell whose side were duly defeated for the sixth consecutive game.
Mid Beds Tigers are now nine points clear at the head of the division four league table after they extended their 100% league record up to 11 games with a 6-0 home win over third place Bedford Albion who had won all of the last seven games. Liam Brophy with a brace plus strikes from Tom Hunt, Tomas-Lee Smith, Daniel Bailey and Cameron Hall doing the damage. Whilst AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College A were 4-0 winners at Westoning Reserves thanks to a hat-trick from Giovanni Moscaritolo and a single goal from John Hislop.
Alas bottom of the table Lidlington United Sports still await their first points of the season after being defeated 5-3 at home by second from bottom of the table Henlow Reserves. Andy Harvey with a hat-trick plus Tyler Hall and Jack Vincent bringing up the nap hand against United replies via Stephen Didlick, Thomas Staples and Chris Roberts.
