Flitwick Town close in on the Division One league title.

AFC Kempston Town Reserves were to claim their fourth win on the bounce when beating fourth place Meltis Albion 5-1. Ed L'Erario with two goals alongside strikes from Danny Bibby, James Allen and Jordan Garrord doing the damage against a Albion reply from Michael Butler.
Marston Shelton Rovers have now moved themselves up into third spot in the league table after winning 3-0 at Marabese Ceramics.Opening half goals from Lee Dudley and Aaron Franks being added to in the new period by Charlie Standish to take Rovers to their fourth consecutive away victory.
Westoning Recreation Club Reserves are now without a win in their last seven games after goals from John Reynolds and Andrew Morris could not prevent them from going down to a 2-5 home defeat at the hands of Wilshamstead Reserves.The visitors goals coming via two own goals plus strikes from Glen Timulty, Aaron Smith and Matt Rosborough.
Action at Whiston Crescent, saw Clifton Reserves take their unbeaten ways to four games by sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Eastcotts. Greg King and Toby McNaughton on the scoresheet for the home side against Eastcotts replies from Sean Bolton and Liam Parker.

AFC Kempston Town after a run of six games without a victory returned to winning ways when a Justin Patterson goal eight minutes from time took them to a 1-0 home win over Woburn, thus ending The Safari Boys five game unbeaten run.
Dunton plight at the wrong end of the league table deepen when they were beaten 4-1 at Oakley Sports who like AFC Kempston Town were netting their first win in six outings.Ben Brown twice plus Chris Boniface and Mark Funge netting the home side against a lone reply from Dave Pugh.
For Renhold United, it was their first win in 10 outings 4-1 at home over bottom of the table Westoning Recreation Club.Mo Banda claiming a hat-trick and Ryan Gascoyne striking once against a Rec Boys reply from Glen Robinson.
The final top flight game of the evening seeing Southill Alexander net their fourth home win on the bounce when beating Wilshamstead 7-3. Jason Lynch and Bradley O'Donovan both grabbing hat-tricks alongside a goal from Kay Brown. Michael Jones bagging all the visitors replies, two of which were to see his team into a 2-0 lead.
League leaders Flitwick Town took another step forward to the 2009-10 season league title when a goal from Richard Davidson was good enough to earn them the full three points with a 1-0 home win over Sandy.
Leighton United meantime were dropping points for the third consecutive outing when held to a 1-1 draw at Campton Reserves.Dan Webb netting the home goal against a United reply from Alex Bradley.
Elsewhere, Marston Social kept their promotion hopes alive by taking their home winning ways to seven games with a 3-0 victory over AFC Kempston Town Reserves. Darren Rowlett, James Armstrong and Jack Constable all on the scoresheet.
Henlow after two straight home defeats, returned to winning ways 4-0 victors over Kempston. Adam Cavell with a brace plus goals from Steve Pateman and Dean Johnson doing the damage.
For bottom of the table Kempston Hammers Sports, it was a ninth defeat on the bounce, 1-4 at home against Ickwell & Old Warden Reserves. Two goals from Lee Threadgold plus strikes from Matthew Bruney and Grant Humberstone winning the day against a home reply from Richard Garnham.
The evening other scheduled fixture between Stevington and Bedford Sports Athletic being postponed when the home side failed to raise a team.
Potton Wanderers are the new league leaders on goal difference of the Division Two table after stretching their winning home ways to seven games with a 8-0 win over Clifton. Dean Hamilton with a hat-trick, James Hearson with a brace plus strikes from Dave Trundley, Chris Munns and Philip Dorrell taking them to the three points.
For third place Marston Shelton Rovers it was their second away win of the week, this time 6-0 at Shillington.Chris Cook netting twice alongside single strikes from Xennon Paul, Lee Dudley, Aaron Franks and Antony Henman.
Fourth place Brache Sparta Community Reserves meanwhile were maintaining their promotion push and retaining their season's unbeaten home record with a 3-2 win over Kings AFC. Glen Collins, Martin Collins and Mako Romano goals doing the damage against replies from Dave Sanson and Oliver Plested from the penalty spot.
Bedford Park Rangers were to moved themselves off of the bottom of the league table above Kempston Athletic when a lone goal from Richard Patterson took them to a 1-0 victory at Eastcotts.
