Bedford SA Claim Division One Supported By Sportsform Title With Win Over Sandy Reserves
Bedford SA were crowned the Division One Supported By Sportsform League Champions when a goal from James Allen ten minutes from time was enough to earn them a 1-0 home victory over Sandy Reserves and now take them into Friday evenings Centenary Cup Final seeking a domestic league and cup double to compensate for their defeat in the Bedfordshire FA Junior Cup Final.

Meanwhile The Division Two title will now not be settled until the last day of the season after both of the top two clubs came up with wins, league leaders Bedford College needing a Jamie Cole goal five minutes from time to take the spoils in a 1-0 win at Ickwell & Old Warden Reserves whilst Meltis Albion were running out 8-2 winners at Woburn Reserves, Scott Alleyne on the scoresheet six times alongside strikes from Darren Ashpole and Salvatore Venttriglia against home replies from Aaron Ripley and Tom Mangan, all of which means The College now still require a point from their home game with Marston Shelton Rovers on Saturday to take the title but should they be defeated then Meltis Albion who hold a better goal difference could take the title on goal difference with a last day home win over Blunham Reserves.

The evening's other game in this section seeing Clifton win 5-1 at Lidlington United Sports thanks to braces of goals from Greg King and Mark Gearing alongside a strike l from Barry Hallybone.

In Division Three, Blue Chip were to claim the seasons runners-up spot to pip Potton Wanderers on goal difference following a 2-1 home win over the newly crowned league champions Kings AFC, with the game goalless at the break second half strikes from Micky Walker and Daniel Avis saw them lead 2-0 until Stuart Minty pulled one back ten minutes from time to set up a tense finish.
