Clifton Are Taught A Lesson At Bedford College
Premier Division action on Wednesday Evening 16th April saw Meltis Corinthians hold onto fourth place in the league table when goals from Neville Allen, Dean Warren, Aaron Hazelwood and Justin Patterson took them to their ninth consecutive home win on the bounce with a 4-0 victory over AFC Kempston Town to stay ahead of Ickwell & Old Warden on goal difference after they sent Luton Borough to a fifth consecutive defeat 3-1 on The Green with goals from Danny Fox, Sam Julian and Zak Rowe to a Borough reply from Raymond Undi.

Elsewhere Caldecote jumped into the top six above Blunham and AFC Kempston Town following their 6-1 home win over Riseley Sports, Jack Gabbitas netting five and Kai Griffiths-Shilton once to a Riseley reply from Tom Ellison and Sharnbrook won for the third time on the bounce away from home with a 4-0 victory at Westoning Recreation Club for whom it was a fourth consecutive defeat without even finding the back of the net, James Comb, Shaun Barnett, Ollie Woodhouse and Ian Strange netting the winners goals.

In Division One Supported By Sportsform action, Flitwick Town despite a goal from Clive Craig were to have their eight game winning run and their hopes of getting into the promotion shake up shattered with a 3-1 defeat at Marston Social.,whose goals came from Daniel Bullen, James Armstrong and Antony Deacon whilst down at the bottom of the table Sandy Reserves did their survival hopes no harm by coming up with their first win in nine outings with a 5-3 home win over bottom club Elstow Abbey, Kevin Fage netting twice plus Ian Jakes, Steve Jakes and Philip Beal once to Abbey replies from Patrick Gavin, Ben Munnoch and Steve Turner, but AFC Kempston Town Reserves plight worsed with a 5-6 home defeat by Caldecote Reserves, Phil Gaduj with two goals plus Tristan Peck, Ed L'Erario and a Lee Leonard penalty The Town marksmen only to be outgunned by four in reply from Dave Parker being added to by a brace from Leeroy Odd.

The lone game in Division Two saw league leaders Bedford College extend their lead at the head of the table to six points over Meltis Albion with a 7-2 home win over Clifton, Kevin Rogers leading the way with a hattrick supported by braces from Sammy Guri and Yudi Ichichana to Clifton replies from George King and Lee Austin.
