AFC Oakley M&DH in taking their unbeaten home league ways up to nine games with a 5-1 victory over bottom of the table Elstow Abbey are now just three points behind the league leaders Renhold United plus the luxury of having played a game less and boasting a much better goal difference. It was the Abbey who netted first via Lucas Banton in the 25th minute before Shaun Barnett with a brace plus single strikes from Ali Smith, Jason Goldman and Jack Hodgstraten won the day for the home side.

Still living in hope that the top two clubs will slip up during the seasons run in are third place Wilstead who chalked up win number five on the bounce and took their unbeaten away ways up to eight games with a 4-1 win at second from bottom of the table Eastcotts AFC. Having won their last four home games Cranfield United failed to bring up the nap hand when beaten 3-2 by third from bottom of the league Caldecote who returned to winning ways for the first time in 11 starts. Joe Kvilum netting the vital goal. Whilst now in third place are Queens Park Crescents who were gifted the three points when second from bottom of the table Houghton Athletic failed to raise a side to visit them in Allen Park.

Losing out on that third spot were Meltis Albion who despite taking their unbeaten ways up to five games were held to a 0-0 home draw by bottom of the table AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves. Division Two

The new leaders of the division two league table be it on goal difference only are Cople & Bedford SA who won 7-0 at bottom of the table Marston Shelton Rovers Reserves who were suffering their seventh straight defeat. Ollie Hughes leading the way with a hat-trick and supported by single strikes from Daniel Lupton, Paul Nigro, Ben Marwood and Brett Allen to take over the top spot from Cranfield United Reserves who lost their seasons unbeaten away ways when going down 1-0 at Bedford United whose lone goal came via Carmelo Colucci in the 89th minute.

Preview Saturday 26th March 2016

With Premier Division supported by Sportsform league leaders Renhold United sitting the weekend out it gives a chance for AFC Oakley M&DH to regain the top spot should they collect the maximum points from their trip to face fifth place AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College at Hillgrounds who themselves will be looking for their third home win on the bounce. Whilst third place Wilstead seek out their fourth home win on the bounce when at their Jubilee Playing Field base they play hosts to bottom of the table Elstow Abbey who are still in search of their first away point/points of the season.

Over at Hitchin Road the home of seventh place Shefford Town & Campton the visitors are eleventh place Sharnbrook who have been beaten just the once in their last eight league outings. Whilst at Crawley Road for eighth place hosts Cranfield United its a chance to gain revenge on the visiting ninth place Ampthill Town Reserves who just 10 days ago at the same venue knocked them out of the Britannia Cup and with the Town not having won on the road in league action since winning at Sandy back in mid-December some seven games ago you would fancy their chances to do just that.

Other action brings about a local derby on the Green where tenth place Ickwell & Old Warden play hosts to third from bottom of the table Caldecote who have won on the road just three times all season. Whilst at Weston Park its a clash between the two clubs who share the venue when sixth place Marston Shelton Rovers now unbeaten in their last seven league outings of which six have been won play hosts to second from bottom of the table Eastcotts AFC whose 12 away outings to date this season has brought about 11 defeats and just one victory.

In Division One supported by Wests Citroen Bedford action for league leaders Sundon Park Rangers its a chance to get back to winning ways when they make the short journey to take on second from bottom of the table Houghton Athletic at Moore Crescent who are currently on a seven game losing run. Whilst at their Playing Field headquarters second place Stevington who are still unbeaten on home soil this season receive a visit from fourth place Meltis Albion who have been beaten just the twice on the road all season.

Over in Allen Park for third place Queens Park Crescents now on a three game winning home run the visitors are fifth place AFC Kempston Town & Bedford College Reserves who will be looking for just their fourth away win of the season. Whilst at Rectory Road for eighth place Shefford Town & Campton Reserves its the search of home win number four on the bounce against the visiting ninth place Potton Town who have lost just twice in their last 10 league outings.

Other action comes at Groveside being the venue at which seventh place Henlow play hosts to tenth place Riseley Sports who to date have won just the once on the road all season and at Greenfield Road for third from bottom of the table Westoning the visitors are bottom of the table AFC Oakley M&DH Reserves whose lone two wins of the season to date both came on the road at Potton Town and Henlow.

In Division Two the action is restricted to just two games both of which could have a bearing on the outcome of this seasons league title. At King George VI Playing Fields for fifth place Clapham Sports who are still holding down a seasons 100% home record the visitors are second place Cranfield United Reserves who suffered just their first away league defeat of the season last weekend at Bedford United. Whilst for league leaders Cople & Bedford SA beaten just once on the road all season its a trip to Cutler Hammer to be hosted by second from bottom of the table Kempston Athletic who will be in search of just their second home win of the season.

Division Three action is just a single game affair when at Bedford Road Recreation Ground for third from bottom of the table Sandy Reserves with just two home wins to their name all season the visitors are second from bottom of the table Meltis Albion Reserves whose away tally this season reads played 10, won one, lost nine.

Likewise in Division Four its a one game programme when at Harvey Close the hosting fourth place Caldecote A who are now the only team that can prevent Mid Beds Tigers lifting the league title receive a visit from the said champions elect who will arrive in at the Close in need of just a single point to be crowned the league 2015-16 champions.
